Hsienhsi Township
is situated at the “wind
tip and water tail” coastal
area. Most citizens make a
living through agriculture, fishery
or animal husbandry. Duck-raising
is well-known through the island. The
thousand-year eggs processed from
locally-produced quail eggs are very
famous, too. Leather drums, elders’
talents and thousand-year eggs are so-
called “three treasures of Hsienhsi
Township”. Wenzai Fishing Port
bordering Changpin Industrial
Zone offers a variety of fresh
fish stock. Of them mullet
roe is the most unique.

線西鄉 Hsienhsi Township

位於風頭水尾的沿海地區，主要從事農、漁、牧業，
養鴨為全國聞名的產業，生產的鵪鶉小皮蛋相當出名，另
外，特色產業皮鼓、老人才藝、皮蛋，有「線西三寶」之
稱。「塭仔漁港」比鄰線西區彰濱工業區，提供各類新鮮
魚貨，生產的烏魚子更具特色。
