二水／獼猴生態園區
二水鄉 Erhshui Township Erhshui／Formosan Macaque Ecological Park

舊名「二八水」，境內水利系統縱橫交錯，孕育豐
富的農產品，全臺早期開發著名的「八堡圳」就坐落於
此，為了紀念先人鑿圳之辛勞，每年皆會舉辦「臺灣跑水
節」，成為了地方上最具特色的年度節慶活動。濁水溪床
上的優良硯石有「黑玉」之稱，為二水的「鄉寶」，石硯
雕藝師傅更擁有盛名。

Irrigation systems crisscross in Erhshui Township
and result in diverse, bountiful agricultural products. The
early developed Babao Canal is located in Erhshui. To
commemorate the ancestors’ hard work in digging the
irrigation canal, locals would hold “Taiwan Water Running
Festival” every year, which has become the most
distinctive annual festival. The excellent ink stone in the
riverbed of Jhoushei River, also called “black jade”, are a
treasure of Erhshui Township. Inkstone carving masters in 二水／八堡圳公園 Erhshui／Babao Canal Park
Erhshui Township also have a great reputation.
