埤頭鄉 Pitou Township

埤頭鄉因「埤」圳的源「頭」而得名，水田肥沃，稻田種植
面積超過2,000公頃，成為重要的米倉之一，也是著名的有機米
生產地。結合產業特色，台灣穀堡以稻米為主題，介紹稻米的大
小事，而百寶村則是彩繪老穀倉，成為熱門觀光景點；另外，埤
頭工業區的設立，以食品加工及餐具塑膠相關製造為主，帶動當
地經濟發展。

With more than 2,000 hectares of fertile paddy fields,
Pitou is one of the important rice granaries and is also a
famous production center for organic rice. Combined with
industry features, Taiwan Rice Museum introduces rice as a
theme and shares rice’s different stories. Changhua Souvenir
Center, a painted old granary, becomes a popular tourism

attraction. Besides, the establishment of Pitou Industrial Park,
whose manufacturers are mostly food processing factories or
cutlery plastic factories, has helped boost Pitou’s economic
