花壇鄉 Huatan Township

擁有「紅磚的故鄉」之稱的花壇鄉，早期以生產紅磚聞名。
舊稱「茄苳腳」，後取日語諧音改稱「花壇」。鄉內盛產荔枝、
楊桃、西施柚、茉莉花等農產品，其中茉莉花產量居全臺之冠，
因此有「茉莉花王國」的美名。縣定古蹟「虎山岩」，為彰化三
大名寺之一，綠樹林蔭，香火鼎盛。

Being called “Hometown of Bricks”, Huatan Township
used to be famous for its high-quality bricks. Huatan Township
is rich in lychee, star fruits, Shis pomelo and jasmine. Of them
jasmine is the most abundant and Huatan Township is hence
called “Kingdom of Jasmine”. The county-designated historical
site Hushan Temple is one of the three well-known temples in
Changhua County, with endless stream of pilgrims.
