芬園鄉 Fenyuan Township

鄉名源自先人在此地種植菸草，取「菸」閩南語發
音「芬」而命名。產業以農業為主，荔枝、鳳梨、米粉
最為聞名，其中楓坑村更是臺灣米粉最早發源地，故有
米粉故鄉之稱。縣定古蹟「寶藏寺」奉祀觀音佛祖，為
地方信仰中心；擁有百年歷史的挑水古道，是民眾登山
休閒的好去處。
The township's most citizens are farmers. Lychee,
pineapples and rice noodles are the most famous
farm products. Fenkeng Village, where Taiwanese rice
noodles originated, is called “Hometown of Taiwanese
Rice Noodles”. County-designated historical site,
Baozang Temple, which worships Guanyin, is the
