大城鄉 Tacheng Township

舊名「大城厝」，位於濁水溪出海口北岸，林木茂
密，吸引多種鳥類棲息，自然生態豐富。鄉內多以農業及
水產養殖為主，西瓜、花生、鴨肉、黃金蜆為主要地方特
產，其中肉鵝、肉鴨養殖豐富，味美質優，深受消費者喜
愛。主祀保生大帝的咸安宮為地方的信仰中心。

The dense forests in Tacheng Township attract many different
kinds of birds to take a rest or build a nest, which end up a rich 大城／肉鴨養殖 Tacheng／Duck Raising
biodiversity. Most residents make a living through farming and
aquaculture. Watermelons, peanuts, ducks and golden clams
are main local specialties. In addition, geese and ducks, with
their juicy and high-quality meat, are deeply loved by consumers.
Xianan Temple, which worships Baosheng Dadi, is the center for
local faith.
